Long-acting amylin analogue. Cagrilintide is a lipidated analogue of amylin, the pancreatic hormone co-secreted with insulin that signals fullness to the brainstem. Gastrointestinal events, mainly nausea and vomiting, were the most common in the Phase 2 trial, with injection-site reactions also reported; most were mild to moderate.
