Kisspeptin-10 (10mg)
Research Kisspeptin-10 vial, dispatched from Australian stock. In Stock
Ten-residue C-terminal fragment of kisspeptin, the KISS1R ligand
Kisspeptin-10 is the shortest fully active fragment of kisspeptin, the hypothalamic peptide that sits at the top of the reproductive hormone cascade. It triggers GnRH release, which drives LH and FSH, and its discovery in 2003 explained a form of inherited infertility. It is the reference tool for studying the reproductive axis.
How it works
Kisspeptin binds KISS1R (GPR54) on GnRH neurons, causing a rapid GnRH pulse. Downstream LH rises within minutes. Because it acts upstream of GnRH, it retains the normal pituitary feedback that direct GnRH analogues bypass.
What the research reports
Human studies (Dhillo et al., JCEM 2005 onward) show dose-dependent LH and testosterone increases. Kisspeptin has been studied as an IVF trigger with reduced ovarian hyperstimulation risk (Abbara et al., 2015) and in hypothalamic amenorrhoea.
Key research areas
- GnRH pulse generation — KISS1R signalling in the hypothalamus
- LH and testosterone response — Human pharmacodynamics
- Fertility research — Oocyte maturation trigger studies
- Puberty biology — KISS1 mutations and timing of puberty

Frequently asked questions
What is Kisspeptin-10?
Ten-residue C-terminal fragment of kisspeptin, the KISS1R ligand.
What is Kisspeptin-10 studied for?
GnRH pulse generation: kISS1R signalling in the hypothalamus. LH and testosterone response: human pharmacodynamics. Fertility research: oocyte maturation trigger studies. Puberty biology: kISS1 mutations and timing of puberty.
Kisspeptin-10 before and after: what do the studies show?
Human studies reported dose-dependent LH rises within an hour and testosterone increases in men; as an IVF trigger it produced oocyte maturation with a lower hyperstimulation risk than hCG.
What side effects has Kisspeptin-10 research reported?
Reported as well tolerated in the human studies, with no serious adverse events; continuous exposure desensitises the receptor, which is a design consideration.
What is the Kisspeptin-10 dosage?
Published Kisspeptin-10 studies specify their own amounts and routes, and those vary by model and endpoint. Peptide Aus products are supplied for in-vitro laboratory research, so we do not provide dosing, cycle or usage guidance for people. For laboratory preparation, the reconstitution calculator converts vial size and water volume into concentration and syringe units.
Kisspeptin-10 vs GnRH: what is the difference?
Kisspeptin acts upstream of GnRH and keeps pituitary feedback intact; GnRH analogues act on the pituitary directly.
How do you reconstitute Kisspeptin-10 (10mg)?
Add about 2 mL of bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside of the vial and swirl gently; do not shake. 10mg in 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL. Refrigerate at 2–8 °C after reconstitution and use within 8–12 weeks. The calculator has this vial preset.
How should Kisspeptin-10 be stored?
Lyophilised: −20 °C, sealed, away from light and moisture. Reconstituted: 2–8 °C, used within 8–12 weeks, never frozen.
Is Kisspeptin-10 legal in Australia?
Kisspeptin-10 is not registered by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) as a medicine in Australia and is not approved for human or veterinary use. Peptide Aus supplies it as a research reagent for in-vitro laboratory work only. Supply of any substance for human use in Australia is governed by the Poisons Standard and the Therapeutic Goods Act, and the buyer is responsible for using the material lawfully. If you are looking for a treatment, speak to a doctor.
Where can I buy Kisspeptin-10 in Australia, and what does it cost?
Directly from Peptide Aus, from Australian stock: Kisspeptin-10 (10mg) is $114.99 AUD including GST. Paid orders before 2pm AEST/AEDT dispatch the same business day, tracked.
