Why this kit

NAD+ needs 5 mL of water, the most of any vial, which the 10 mL vial covers.

Kit value

Bought separately the 4 items come to $171.37. The kit is $150.99, which saves $20.38 (12%). Every item is the same product sold on its own page, from the same Australian stock, with a certificate of analysis available for each peptide batch.

Preparing the kit

  1. Reconstitute NAD+ (500mg). Add 5 mL of bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside wall of the vial and swirl gently until clear; do not shake. 500mg in 5 mL gives 100 mg/mL. The calculator has this vial preset.
  2. Draw and swab. Swab the vial stopper before each draw. Use a fresh U-100 syringe each time; the calculator converts the amount in milligrams to syringe units at the concentration prepared.
  3. Store. Lyophilised vials at −20 °C until reconstitution. Reconstituted solution and pens at 2–8 °C, never frozen; reconstituted vials are used within 8–12 weeks, opened bacteriostatic water within 28 days.

About NAD+

NAD+

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, oxidised form

NAD+ is the coenzyme that carries electrons in cellular respiration and serves as the substrate for sirtuins, PARPs and CD38. Tissue NAD+ levels decline with age, which has made it and its precursors central to longevity research. Research-grade NAD+ is used in enzyme assays and redox studies.

Rodent studies of NAD+ restoration through precursors (NMN, NR) report improved mitochondrial function and metabolic markers with age. Human trials of precursors show reliable increases in blood NAD+ with modest functional endpoints. Direct NAD+ administration is studied in clinics for a range of unproven indications.

Frequently asked questions

What is in the kit?

NAD+ (500mg) ×1; Bacteriostatic Water 10mL ×1; Insulin syringes (U-100, 1 mL) ×20; Alcohol swabs ×20. Every item is listed in the table above with a link to its own page.

Why these quantities?

NAD+ needs 5 mL of water, the most of any vial, which the 10 mL vial covers.

How much does the kit save?

Bought separately the parts come to $171.37; the kit is $150.99, a saving of $20.38 (12%). Kits are priced with the peptide at full price and the supplies at half price.

What does the research show about NAD+?

Rodent studies of NAD+ restoration through precursors (NMN, NR) report improved mitochondrial function and metabolic markers with age. Human trials of precursors show reliable increases in blood NAD+ with modest functional endpoints. Direct NAD+ administration is studied in clinics for a range of unproven indications.

Does the kit need anything else?

No. It holds the peptide, the water or pen needles it needs, syringes where the format uses them, and swabs. A sharps container is an optional add-on.

How is it reconstituted and stored?

Water needed: 5 mL. Vials are reconstituted as described in the preparation steps above and in the reconstitution guide; lyophilised vials store at −20 °C, reconstituted solution and pens at 2–8 °C.

Is the kit for research only?

NAD+ is not registered by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) as a medicine in Australia and is not approved for human or veterinary use. Peptide Aus supplies it as a research reagent for in-vitro laboratory work only. Supply of any substance for human use in Australia is governed by the Poisons Standard and the Therapeutic Goods Act, and the buyer is responsible for using the material lawfully. If you are looking for a treatment, speak to a doctor.

Where can I buy it?

Directly from Peptide Aus, from Australian stock. Paid orders before 2pm AEST/AEDT dispatch the same business day, tracked.
