Buying research peptides in Australia: what to check

Certificates of analysis

A CoA is an independent laboratory report for a specific batch. It should name the batch, the date and the testing laboratory. A supplier who provides one for your batch lets you check the vial you receive against the report. One who cannot is asking you to trust a label.

Local stock

Peptides shipped from overseas spend weeks in transit and can be seized at the border. Australian stock arrives in days, tracked, in packaging that has not been through customs. It also means the supplier is subject to Australian consumer law.

Legal honesty

A research supplier states that products are for in-vitro laboratory use, are not approved for human use, and that it does not give dosing advice. A supplier who offers protocols, cycles or 'stacks for results' is marketing for human use, which is unlawful in Australia and a sign the rest of the operation is equally careless.
